SNK diffuse, comme à son habitude, le teaser de la semaine pour The King of Fighters XIV qui est dédié cette fois-ci à la team Fatal Fury.

Les trois protagonistes emblématiques du tout premier Fatal Fury se dévoilent aujourd’hui dans un teaser dédié à la Team Fatal Fury. Celle-ci est composée de Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard et Joe Higashi qui étaient les trois seuls personnages jouables du premier opus de la saga.
Flashback : Fatal Fury (Garou Densetsu en VO), la série de jeux de combat en 2D de SNK à débuté en Arcade et sur la légendaire Neo-Geo AES en 1991. La saga compte 8 épisodes : Fatal Fury (1991), Fatal Fury 2 (1992), Fatal Fury Special (1993), Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory (1995), Real Bout Fatal Fury (1995), Real Bout Fatal Fury Special (1996), Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers (1998) et Garou: Mark of the Wolves (1999). 5 spin-off : Nettou Garou Densetsu 2 (1994), Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition (1998), Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special: Dominated Mind (1998), Nettou Real Bout Garou Densetsu Special (1998) et Fatal Fury: First Contact (1999). La série a même été adaptée en OAV : Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf en 1992, Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle en 1993 et Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture en 1994.
The King of Fighters XIV sera disponible en exclusivité sur PS4 le 26 août 2016.
